Hello OLG/STA Eagle Supporters,
I want to welcome everyone to the 2009 CYO sports season!! I am Michael Martinez your Soccer Commissioner for this year. This is our second year as part of the St. Anthony community. My wife Cindi and I have one child who attends the school and participates in our CYO program. Thomas is four and is in Ms. Valdez’s class. This is my second year coaching at the TOT 1 level. I feel it is important to stress having FUN. Sports can have a tremendously positive impact on a kid's life if the experience is a positive one. I would like to teach the importance of good sportsmanship and teamwork. Players will have an opportunity to play every position, so everyone can experience all aspects of the game. We will work on basic fundamentals and rules of soccer. I welcome any and all input. If at any time you have a question, comment or concern, please do not hesitate to call on me. I am here to help make everyone's experience in our program a great one.
