My name is Isaac Silva and I am the Baseball Commissioner for our CYO
program. My wife, Sara, and I have been involved with our program since
the fall of 2004. We have one son Isaac H. who is in the 3rd grade and
participates in our programs.

We as parents want all children to reap the rewards of participating in CYO
athletics. The values of teamwork and sportsmanship will only help our
children as they get older. We must teach the children that it’s not all about
winning but how we play the game. Something that I remember from my
Little League days that we said before our games is. “I will play fair, strive
to win, but win or lose I will always do my best”. That is all that we can ask
from our kids.
